Dear friends

In response to the terrible flooding that afflicted the state of Santa Catarina, Books for Brazil is looking for institutions working with children in the region to receive book donations. We believe it is extremely important that books are available to families dislodged by the rain into shelters, health centers, schools and other locations.

Books provide fun and a healthy distraction in difficult moments such as this. If you know anyone that can benefit or a suggestions, please send us an email.

If you would like to contribute to our project, let us know!

Leave your message about Books for Brazil in our new Feedback page. Tell us what you think, share ideas and activities on how to use our books. Help us promote literacy among children in Brazil.

We are currently working on the Annual Report summarizing our activities for 2008. Keep in touch!
