2nd Benefit Dinner

Thank you for your interest in helping us with the Benefit Dinner. Last year, the event was a major source of funding to our organization.
Books for Brazil is a Medford-based 501©(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible. Our mission is to promote literacy by providing free books to underprivileged children in Brazil.
The fundraising dinner will be a ticketed event held at St. James Armenian Church at
465 Mt. Auburn Street, Watertown, from 7:00 pm–10:00pm on August 23, 2008. It will consist of a Brazilian-themed dinner, cash bar, music and dancing with Brazilian bands. We anticipate 150 guests. All proceeds from this event will be used to purchase children’s books for our biannual distributions.
We would be pleased to advertise your sponsorship of the event, per your preferences. Sponsors will be formally announced during the event and will be listed on our website, on tickets and on posters promoting the event if the information is received before printing. We will also offer a space at the registration table during the event for your publications or advertizing. We will do our best to accomodate all of the requests.
Food sponsors can also provide food descriptions and menus which will be placed next to each dish.
We are also accepting gift certificates and items that can be used in our raffle during the evening.
